Greetings from the Django, folks! We are excited to release our fifth soundtrack composed by trumpeter and singer, Benny Benack II. This curated playlist consists of some of Benack’s personal favorite talents in the Jazz scene who have influenced his sound over the years.
Benny performs widely as a frontman for Postmodern Jukebox, a vintage music collective that has established themselves in the New York City music scene for playing canny old-school covers of modern pop. Having him on stage at the Django is always a treat — while our doors are temporarily closed we are excited to bring the sounds of Benny Benack III home to you with a virtual live performance.
