Danny Raycraft is an up and coming tenor saxophonist on the NYC jazz scene. Having cut his teeth in bands lead by jazz masters like Winard Harper and Mark Johnson, Danny is a straight-ahead player who has been described as “soulful and swinging.” His style is deeply rooted in the history of jazz tenor saxophone and draws heavily from influences like John Coltrane, Dexter Gordon and Sonny Rollins, without overtly sounding like a copy of any of them.
