Acclaimed saxophonist Stacy Dillard started playing the saxophone at a late age, but a run-in with Wynton Marsalis in Dayton, Ohio would turn his attention to the New York Scene. After graduation, Dillard made his first recording appearance with Mike Wade on trumpet, drummer Melvin Broach and pianist William Menefield. He then made his way to New York City where he has been playing saxophone ever since.
