Pete Zimmer Quartet

Drummer Pete Zimmer, a native of Waukesha, Wisconsin, relocated to New York City in 2001 and has since established himself as a prominent figure in the jazz scene. As the owner of his own Tippin’ Records label, Zimmer has released six albums, garnering international acclaim from esteemed publications such as Modern Drummer and DownBeat. Modern Drummer praised Zimmer’s drummer for his “crisp, swinging command with judicious musicality,” while DownBeat lauded his ride cymbal technique, describing it as “sizzling popcorn.” Zimmer has collaborated with some of the most influential jazz musicians of our time, including Peter Bernstein, George Garzone, Mike Rodriguez, Lezlie Harrison, Joel Frahm, and many others.
