Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Nick Green attended the Frank Sinatra School of the Arts founded by Tony Bennett. He would go on to study with jazz giants Barry Harris and Charles McPherson. Green's debut album "Green on the Scene" off of the cellar live label received a 4 star review on All About Jazz, with the famed site calling it "a triumph for Nick Green as a composer and performer."
