Young guitarist Matthew Rotker-Lynn is quickly becoming a distinctive voice on the New York jazz scene. At age 25, he has already played at top jazz venues, sharing the stage with musicians like Steve Davis, Alex Claffy, Joe Farnsworth, Pat Bianchi, George Colligan, David Kikoski, among others.

Originally from Milwaukee, WI, Rotker-Lynn moved to NYC at age 18 and studied with musicians like Peter Bernstein, Steve Wilson, Lage Lund, and Ray Gallon, while dipping his feet into the New York Jazz Scene. He has recently recorded a six song EP on the Canadian label “Cellar Live” with Alex Claffy and Jimmy Macbride, featuring special guest Aaron Goldberg. Look for it soon!
