Jeb Patton Quartet

Originally from Kensington, Maryland, acclaimed pianist Jeb Patton moved to NYC and studied at Queens College under the tutelage of Jimmy Heath and Sir Roland Hanna. Patton toured throughout the United States and abroad as the pianist with the Heath Brothers and Jimmy Heath for over 20 years. In addition, he’s toured and/or recorded with Charles McPherson, Roberta Gambarini, Antonio Hart, Sachal Vasandani, Dmitry Baevsky, Winard Harper, as well as with his own trio.
Patton's latest releases "Tenthish" and "Shades and Tones" were released in 2018 and 2016 respectively on the Cellar Live label. In July, 2020 Sher Music published Jeb’s new book: "Introduction to Jazz Piano, A Deep Dive." This follows Jeb’s other two releases: "An Approach to Comping: The Essentials" in 2013, and "An Approach to Comping: Vol. 2, Advanced Concepts and Techniques" in 2016.
