Edwin Corne is a Chinese-Australian jazz guitarist based in New York City. After growing up in Shanghai, he moved to New York in 2018, earning a BFA from The New School and an MM in Jazz Studies from The Juilliard School. He performs regularly around New York City with his own groups and as a sideman, with appearances at top NYC venues. A rising presence on the New York jazz scene, Edwin’s debut album, Spruce and Maple (2025), features bassist Luke Sellick and drummer Charles Goold, highlighting his warm, acoustic guitar sound alongside a tasteful, swinging approach to improvisation.
