Award-winning vocalist April Varner returns to The Django with the release of “Winter Songs Vol. 2”, her new full-length Christmas album featuring reimagined holiday standards.

April positions herself as a vibrant new voice in holiday jazz, combining technical skill with authentic joy to create music that communicates directly to listeners' hearts. The album serves as both a showcase for her artistic development and a heartfelt gift to audiences seeking Christmas cheer through jazz interpretation. Fresh off her tour with Postmodern Jukebox, hailed as a “Rising Star Female Vocalist” in DownBeat Magazine, and the 2023 International Jazz Vocal Competition Winner, Varner brings a voice that bridges eras, recalling the golden age of jazz with modern sophistication.

Varner excitedly has TWO upcoming new album releases: “Winter Songs Vol. 2”, a full length Christmas album, will be released on November 21st, 2025. Her second album will be released in March of 2026, titled “Ella by April”. It will be a tribute album dedicated to the First Lady of Song, Ella Fitzgerald.
