Drummer Anwar Marshall is a native of Philadelphia, Pa. He was introduced to music early on by his mother and father who are both accomplished musicians and music educators. he's worked with artists like Orrin Evans, Christian McBride, Pat Metheny, Robert Glasper and many others. He is also co-leader of a ten-piece ensemble, the Fresh Cut Orchestra.
